Search for CSSD practice questions and you will find no shortage of quizzes. Most of them share the same flaw: a score on a random set of questions tells you very little about where you actually stand, so the only advice they can generate is to answer more questions.
The Free Readiness Check is built to answer something more specific: where do you stand today? In about 15 minutes, with no credit card, it shows your exam readiness (On Track, At Risk, or Not Ready) against the CSSD blueprint.
From there, the free plan keeps you at 10 readiness questions a day. That is enough to keep the picture honest while you study on your own.
What the check is not
It is not an official CDR score, and it is not a validated predictor that you will pass. It also does not replace anything CDR publishes: the content outline, eligibility rules, fees, and dates all live with the board.
When Sprint is the next step
Daily questions give you a snapshot. Sprint gives you the whole map: unlimited practice across every exam domain, including the ones you haven't opened yet, and it counts speed as well as accuracy. When you want case practice on top of recall, Elite adds Clinical Sim, which runs high-stakes clinical scenarios with nothing real at stake.
Common questions
What does a Free Readiness Check tell you?
Where you stand: a band of On Track, At Risk, or Not Ready. Sprint maps every domain when you want to know what to study first.
How is that different from a random CSSD quiz?
A random quiz scores the questions you happened to see. The check maps your answers to the exam blueprint, so what comes back is your exam readiness rather than a bare number.
What happens after the check on the free plan?
You get 10 readiness questions a day to keep your starting picture current. Unlimited practice and the full mastery heatmap are part of Sprint.
